Hey, I'm Coleen

​

Wellness has always been integral to my life! Beginning with; running, followed by nutrition, and lastly, yoga. Yoga has felt like the missing piece in my life. I fell in love with the fluidity, beauty, and meditative qualities yoga brings me. 

 

As a full-time working mom, my life has been filled with yin and yang; a balance of joy and trauma, love and peace, stress and calm. Throughout the chaos of life, I could always count on my afternoon yoga sessions to ground me and leave me feeling centered in my own body. In 2019, I took a leap of faith and committed myself to becoming a yoga instructor. I graduated from my program in March 2020, just as the world was shutting its doors. I believe it was the combination of broadening my understanding of yoga and realizing that yoga is more than just poses and flexibility that caused me to look at my corporate career and wonder, "What's next?"

When my husband and I built our home in Sicamous, I knew I wanted to deepen my practice and invite people into my home to share the beauty that surrounds us in British Columbia. Acres of lush forest behind us and water as deep as the ocean in front of us, there is no better place to share my practice! As a yoga teacher, I strive to share my enthusiasm and passion with my students, whether through my classes or my Sicamous yoga retreats.
